Perched above the pulse of Hebbal, this residence is a study in contrast.
We balanced the vibrant city skyline with an intentionally restrained interior palette—
pairing soft champagne fluting with warm oak and muted textiles.
FROM RAW SITE CONDITIONS TO A REFINED, FINISHED HOME.
Design Story
The Northern Lights residence began with a simple ambition — to create a calm retreat above the dense urban energy of Hebbal. The clients wanted a home that felt warm, elegant and quietly luxurious, allowing them to decompress the moment they walked through the door.
We approached the design architecturally. Circulation was simplified, sightlines were opened, and each room was designed to flow naturally into the next.
Material selection became the defining layer of the project. Champagne fluted panels, warm oak finishes and sculpted lighting details were used to soften the modern shell of the apartment. The result is a space designed to feel calm throughout the day and luminous at night.
Corridors are often treated as mere transitions. We saw this one as a journey. To create a sense of fluid motion, we eschewed sharp corners for soft, rhythmic curves.
Each wooden panel was bent by hand and fixed with painstaking precision to achieve a seamless flow. The lighting was sourced not just to illuminate, but to guide—creating a "Northern Light" effect that pulls you gently through the home.
